Maslow's Hierarchy of needs
The human resources approach was very interesting, especially on how informal communication is important and that human decision making is emotional as well as rational. The goal within an organization is to encourage employee participation and dialogue. Maslow poses a question, “what kinds of management and what kinds of reward or pay will help human nature to grow healthily into its fuller and fullest stature”? If all the conditions are meeting I guess the nature of business would run smoothly. Every condition would need to be meet of Maslow, physiological, safety, love and self esteem. If management is meeting each individual needs, then the prosperity of the company will go well. I remember growing up and listing to adults needs in the workplace, I figured if they would have been meeting the organization would have had a happy place. Maslow theory leaves open space for employees to push themselves to the fullest to make sure all their needs are meet.
